More often case is computer bios by Phoenix, which use 5-digit code after 3 unsuccessful tries to generate master password. Bios from Phoenix used by practically all brands with some modifications in the code calculation. For HP Omnibook and HP Pavilion to get 5-digit code needs to press F2 F12 at password prompt. For example:

•        Usual hash code: [12345]

•        HP models hash code: [12345]

[COMPAQ]
Compaq model with 8 decimal hash code. For example:
• Compaq Presario CQ60; hash code - 45716465

[DELL]

Support model-

Dell Inspiron:

B120, B130, 500m, 600m, 630m, 640m, 700m, 1000, 1150, 1300, E1405, 1420, 1501, E1505, 1520, 1521, E1705, 1720, 1721, 6400, 9100, 9200, 9300, 9400.

Dell Latitude:

D400, D410, D420, D430, D500, D505, D510, D520, D531, D600, D610, D620, D630, D800, D810, D820, D830, 100L, 110L, 120L.

Dell Precision:

M20, M40, M50, M60, M70, M90, M4300.

Dell Vostro:

1200, 1310, 1400, 1500, 1510, 1700.

Dell XPS:

M1210, M1330, M1710, M1730, M2010, M140, M170, Gen 2.

Dell use service tag to generate master password. Usually it ended with - 595B. Some models used modified algorithm for - A95B or 2A7B. For example:

•        Service tag: 1234567-595B

•        Service tag: 1234567-2A7B

•        Service tag: 1234567-A2B3

[Fujitsu-Siemens]

This brand uses many different algorithms to calculate master password. Main code: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx 5x4 digits, to get it enter 3 passwords one by one:

•        Example: 1111-2222-3333-4444-5555

•        Example: 12345678

•        Example: ASDFGHJK

•        Example: ASDF-WERT-XCVB-SDFG-PKOG

[HP Mini/Compaq Netbook]

A partial list of netbook with the System Halted code (10 HEXADEC-CHARACTER) is:

(HP mini 110, HP mini 210, HP mini 311, HP mini 1000, HP mini 1100)

When you enter a wrong password 3 times your laptop will display a hash code, we need this hash code to create a bios master password for your netbook. The hash code display will look like the images below. Your HP Mini will display System Halted codes- 7digits:

•        EXAMPLE; CNU1234Y56

[Samsung]

Samsung use 16-hex code which appeared after 3 unsuccessful tries to restore forgotten password:

• Example: System Disabled [153E0FC8C7B03144]

[SONY]

Sony Vaio PCG/VCG/VPC series can be unlocked. Support models:

PCG-C, PCG-F, PCG-GR, PCG-GRS, PCG-GRT, PCG-GRV, PCG-GRX, PCG-GRZ, PCG-N, PCG-NV205, PCG-QR, PCG-R, PCG-SR, PCG-SRX, PCG-TR, PCG-V, PCG-VX, PCG-X, PCG-Z, VGN-B, VGN-FS, VGN-S, VGN-T, VGN-TX1, VGN-X.
